This blade was designed with the big game hunter in mind. The sweeping blade is perfect for skinning and processing meat in the field, and the flat belly lends itself to slicing cleanly through cuts of venison or elk. The blade itself is hand forged, then later hand sanded to a satin finish. I used 1095 for this piece, a good choice for outdoorsman due to it’s famous durability. The clip point reduces weight and mass towards the front of the blade, helping in nimble cuts around bones and tendons, and thinning the tip to slice rather than chop. The handle material is stabilized redwood burl with polished brass pins. The handle, tang, and spine are highly polished for ease of cleaning and corrosion resistance. 

The sheath is heavy gauge, hand-tooled leather with a belt strap meant to be worn on the right side of one’s person.
