This chef knife features a 7" san mai blade, forged from a lamination of 200-year-old wrought iron and 1095 high carbon steel. The handle is made from stabilized spalted birch harvested on Deer Isle, Maine, and steel-bronze composite fittings. It was featured in the exhibition "Nuance: Craftsmanship, Imagination, and Innovation" at the Peter's Valley School of Craft.
